RZ Lettuce Team Grows in US

The Lettuce category has grown considerably for RZ USA in the past couple of years. The US is finally recognizing the value of superior genetics in combination with the importance and money saving value of having Bremia Resistance with Nasanovia resistance. Not to mention additional resistances of different diseases in some of the RZ varieties.

All this adds up to money saved for the Grower/Shippers in such tough economic times.

In addition to the Lettuce Category growth for the USA, Rijk Zwaan USA has also experienced tremendous growth in the RZ USA Lettuce Team. There have been several additions to the Lettuce Team this year.

Travis Fowler has joined RZ USA as the new Product Development and Research Station Manager. Travis comes with 14 years of Seed Industry experience with a strong emphasis in lettuce knowledge in both the commercial and research arena.

Loretta Brown has been with RZ USA for 8 years as the Office Manager. In
addition to her Office Manager duties, she has recently taken on Indoor Lettuce Sales for the USA. She has been quite an asset to the growth of the Lettuce Category.

Kathleen Giacalone has been with RZ USA for 3 years as Marketing Coordinator. She has recently taken on the demanding task of Lettuce oordinator
for the RZ USA Lettuce Team. Everyone benefits from Kathleen’s talents and expertise. So, as lettuce grows in the USA so does the RZ USA Lettuce Team. The addition of such talented personnel will guarantee continue success for RZ USA in many different ways not just lettuce.
